Yes it is. I had been using a standard avatar for the majority of my time here, and decided it was time for a switch.

We do have an "extended signature" thread (see my sig for link), but I don't know if it counts as necromancy or not to post in it. I think not, given the nature of the thread, but I'm not sure.

As long as you do this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/private.php?do=newpm&u=4945) first, there shouldn't be an issue posting in the Homebrewer's Extended Signature thread.

You should still ask Roland before resurrecting a thread, but the rules on necromancy aren't as strictly enforced on Homebrew and IC threads.
