SWSE - Daily Force Points?

I remember reading in one of the Saga Edition books about a possible rules variant that allowed for a daily replenishment of force points, as opposed to a level-based total. Does anyone know of this? Where can if be found and what are your opinins on its impact on gameplay and balance?

I'd only do this for a very Jedi-centric campaign though.

I probably remember it wrong, but isn't force points those things that you expend in order to do really cool stuff?

This rule encourages epicness, I see no problem.

Thats what Destiny points are for.

The idea that you only get a few force points per level- thats it- means that you have a heavy constraint on how much you can use certain force powers.

The notion of a Jedi blowing all their force points in one or two battles and being completely empty for weeks on end, seems problematic.

Eh, at the rate you're supposed to level up, I never saw any lack of Force Points using the normal system. Jedis are the only ones who are supposed to use a lot of them, and they all generally take Force Point Recovery asap to mitigate the loss.
