The DR in the lich template stays it is DR 15 for Magic and Bludgeoning. Does that mean
DR 15/Magic and DR 15/ Bludgeoning for a total of DR 30
or
DR 15/Magic,Bludgeoning, meaning a total of DR 15 that can be bypassed in one of two ways

Example, Bludgeoning weapon that deals 17 damage will only deal 2 damage in first instance or 17 damage in the second

In further to this, does the DR from dread necromancer stack with this?

Dr 15, to get through you must use a magical bludgeoning weapon.

I better not be ninjaed :(

First instance is correct. If someone then cast MW on the table leg previously used then it does the full 17 (18 with the MW bonus included)

*edit* Also DR never stacks. You only can take the better. So if you get adamantine armor you can subtract that damage, or the DR 15. Your choice when you take the damage.

Actually, I don't believe you even get a choice. Using your example, a lich wearing adamantine full plate would receive 15 less damage from a non-magical and/or non-bludgeoning weapon -- period.

If they were struck by a magical bludgeoning weapon, they would take 3 less damage.

And DR DOES stack, in the case of DR received from {prestige}class levels and adamantine armor. Otherwise, you are right, it doesn't stack.

so to get this right neither magic alone or a bludgeoning weapon alone are enough to bypass this DR, it must be a combination of the two?

Yup.. Somethings get a DR with several things that can go through it, some get DR with only specific sets of things together that'll go through.

Liches get 15/Magic AND bludgeoning not magic OR bludgeoning

Rakshasas get 15/piercing AND good
Dretches get 5/Cold Iron OR good
