Dispelling strike: Once per day at fourth level and one additional time per day every three levels there after (7th, tenth, thirteenth, sixteenth nineteenth); the stifler can call upon his own unique brand of magic to dispel any and all magical effects on an enemy with a sucessful dispel check and a melee sneak attack.

Steal spell: at second level and every other even numbered level thereafter, the stifler can use the spell thief ability of the same name.
2nd level: first level spells. and increasing spell level by one every other even numbered level
Spells: Use the spellthief spellcasting progression)

6th level: tenacious dispelling: the stifler gains plus six on dispel checks including dispelling strike

9th level: Extended spellstrength: any spell the stifler casts on himself(this only affects him, even if he uses a spell that affects allies) Is treated as though it was extended (with no level increase)

10th level: Stifling ambush: Once per day (twice at fifteenth, three at twentieth) The stifler can utterly aleinate an unsuspecting foe from their magic with a succesful sneak attack. The opponent must make a fortitude save (DC ten + 1/2 stifler level, + stifler's cha modifier or lose all spellcasting (including spell like abilites) for 1 round per point of the stifler's charism modifier. (minimum one round)

20th level: Spellcaster's bane: the duration of stifling ambush lasts for one minute per level

Check out http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10313 for a blank table you can copy-paste partway through the first post. Use the "Reply" option to get at the formating codes if you have to (but don't actually submit the reply).

The technical details are as follows:
The opening tag is [Table] although in this case you probably want [Table=head] and the column separator is | (a "pipe").
The first row defines the number of columns, and hard carriage returns (rather than soft line wraps) separate rows.

Is the class really that sucky...

Mechanically? Who knows...

Format wise?
Remove all references to Spell-thief, instead copying in the relevant information directly. A lot of people don't have that book, so putting in the information directly will be a big big help.
