Where is Belkar?

I mean, you'd think if the party found the magic they'd call Belkar over (or he'd notice them gathering round something and go see what they're all gawping at) and yet neither he or Mr Scruffy is anywhere on the zoomed out panel... Think we'll get to see what hes been doing, or is he just off being Belkar?

Hmph...ya know Durkon is also missing, but I suppose since he doesn't have a cat nobody cares! (kidding)

Anyway, most likely he and Durkon are still scratching around for the gate and just haven't noticed yet. Plus it might be difficult to draw the whole party into one panel, especially with Girard there too.

I did wonder about that in the main thread.

Maybe he's still off searching- but we'll have to wait and see.

EDIT:- I didn't think about Durkon. Possibly the two have wandered further afield than the others?

If their omission was intentional, hopefully they will discover another lead for the others. That or the Gate itself, Girard's speech to the contrary.

They were searching a square mile around the coordinates, thats a quite big area, belkar and durkon could be at the far edges of that square.
Or they tumbled into the dungeon

They are probably searching for the gate and are far enough away that they don't know what is happening.

Uh, in comic time, they just found it. Possibly a minute discussion, and then Girard's Illusion showed up. Belkar and Durkon are some where in the nearest mile, and V and Roy had just started a conversation when the spell triggered.
