So I'm pretty sure I want to get the Ravenloft books. I'm just not sure what all I want. I've been trying to look things up, but i somehow fail at that. So Could I mayhaps get some advice on what all books to get?

Here's a few quick links.

Free Downloads (http://www.white-wolf.com/downloads.php?category_id=21) from White Wolf (maker of Ravenloft for 3.5) - There are some previews of the Ravenloft books there.

Secrets of the Kargatane (http://www.kargatane.com/) - old fan site that has neat stuff

Fraternity of Shadows (http://www.fraternityofshadows.com/) - current fan site that has neat stuff

I'd recommend just getting the Ravenloft Players Handbook at first, if you're wary of making a big initial investment. You can do a lot with just that book, though you may end wanting the Ravenloft Dungeon Masters Guide book and the Secrets of the Dread Realms book. I've got those 3 and they are all I use for "official" Ravenloft stuff.

There are lots of splatbooks in the Van Richtens Guide series. They're okay, I guess. I was never really impressed with the Ravenloft specific crunch in them. The Gazetteer series of books is more worthwhile, as each book (4 or 5 books in the series) covers a select number of Domains in detail.

The White Wolf's Ravenloft book is very good for the background information. It's WW1500. Really it's the only book you would need for a Ravenloft setting. Digging up some of the old 2nd ed books would be a pretty good idea as well, you'll have to do a lot of work remaking any monsters or characters from the books but it can be done. I have not had the pleasure of digging up any of the other White Wolf books. Knowing their works however they are most likely very good.

We also found a Goodmen game adventure "The Cage of Delirium" #34 GMG5033 to be a very easy adapted adventure. "Laundry by Cthulhu" good times....good times.
