Recently, my loving wife has voiced the desire to DM her own campaign. As a person who has not been able to actually play a PC in...oh...five years, I was all too happy to hear that. The problem I am running into is that my wife is not completely fluent with the 3.5 system. She understands the basics of the system, but gets a bit overwhelmed when tries to remember all the statuses, check DCs, spells and whatnot. She's the kind of person who could really use a cheat sheet of sorts.
What I ask of you all is whether any of you know of a decent tools for a newbie DM. We are well aware of the various online SRDs, but online availability is limited depending on where we game (it varies from session to session). If there are any comprehensive Excel sheets or Word files that have the following information condensed, it would be appreciated.
* Statuses and what they mean.
* Combat Options and how-to's (trip, grapple, bull rush, etc)
* Skill DCs and modifiers
* Common modifiers to AC, attacks, and saves
I could make this on my own, but my freetime has been rather short as of late. Any help would be appreciated.
