I basically want to make a dragon rider.

Was thinking something along the lines of Fighter 4/ Ranger 1/ Beast Heart Adept 10/ Dragon Rider 1/ Cavalier?

Theory is i ride my BhA companion (a Wyvern with 3 extra HD) ... profit.

A couple variations.
-if i convince my DM to let me take a feat that lets me combine my companion and pally mount i'll switch some to paladin.
-if i don't feel feat starver i might go Knight instead of some fighter.
-I have no idea what other classes would go well with the build.

Any ideas out there?

Do you have access to the Draconomicon?

The Dragon Cohort feat gives you a Wyvern one level after BHA does, but offers better advancement (actual class levels) and lets you use a better class for yourself.

A White Raven-focused martial adept could do well with this. Cavalier could also be a decent option.

All right I looked at some pre-requs and class abilities and my current build is
Fighter 5/ Beast Heart Adept 6/ Dragon Rider 1/ Cavalier 6
That gives me Full attack charge from cavalier increased manuverability from DR and a Wyvern + 1 extra companion (prolly a Krenshar for dungeon crawling.)

My DM generally bans Leadership/Cohorts (for simplicity) but i think i might have convinced him to let me take Devoted Tracker with my Wyvern as both mount and companion (from BhA and Cavalier)

Other than Spirited Charge, Power Attack, Ride-by-Attack

What other feats should i take?
Does Shock Trooper work while mounted? Leap Attack?
Would kinda like to Ubercharger him out.
