There's a Shadowcaster PrC in Tome of Magic that sort-of advances both. True Necromancer also doubles up on the casting, but is more of a trap than MT, to be fair. There's a drow only (read, terrible) PrC in some FR book that does it worse than both MT and TN.

Arcane Heirophant, however, is actually viable, allowing you to net double 9s without trickery for both druid and wizard.
