Final Fantasy is possibly know as the best videogame rpg series ever. D&D shares the same title for pen and paper. A combination has been attempted time and time again to integrate them together. So here is my attempt at a universal System for Dd20 Final Fantasy. However as I was thinking I realized a single system for every game is impractical. There is to much difference in each game. However there is still a lot of similarities. So, the best way to do a conversion would be to convert each game induvidualy. That is a a big task, but if you do it with other people, who are working on another game it is easier, since you can borrow the similarities, and then tweek them. So this is the hub for this huge project. I would love help and your comments.

Viladin has been working on one such project (http://ffd20.orgfree.com/phpBB2/index.php) for quite some time now. It's a bit too unified for my tastes, but you should definitely check it out. It's basically all FF games under one d20 roof.

Just out of curiousity, has someone designed a FFIV system? Because I've actually been thinking about that lately.

An FFIV system wouldn't be that complex. The characters in the game are shown to have few abilities.

Cid, for instance, can scan foes, but that's the only actual class feature he has. Kain's only unique ability is the "Jump" command. It could probably be easily acheived simply by using the Generic Classes and adding in feats allowing you to use abilities like Scan, Jump, Throw, Dark, Kick and Cover.

TO Zeta
Vid is attempting to make a single system for all the games. I am attempting to make a system for each game and then linking them together along with universal material.
Now for ff4 I am actualy thinking unique individual classes for each. It would have to include the after series as well.
