After a few minutes of crying... Carrie unexpectedly tries to snog Ari! Yikes!
And her bare hand is touching Ari's arm! Ouch!

Cruik smiles and heads to his room.

Ari doesn't snog back. She's actually trying to pull away.
And the hand doesn't hurt yet. Just itchy.

Jezzie skips along and follows him.

Carrie's eyes are open. She looks scared of herself.
She tries to lean forward so Ari can't pull away.

Her arm is starting to hurt a little bit now but she can't say anything because Carrie's lips are locked against hers. And there's no more room to back up.

Carrie could be pushed away.
And she's still crying.

Cruik holds his door open.

Ari is not a mean type person. In fact, she's too nice.
But her arm is starting to really hurt.

Matt walks into the kitchen, just in time to hear Ari. He reaches out and tries to collar Carrie before she can run. What's going on here?

Carrie is grabbed.
She hangs her head in remorse, shame, self-loathing, all that stuff.
Matt may smell booze on the 16-year-old girl's breath.

Ari hides her injured arm from Matt's sight.
She didn't mean anything Matt.
She's just confused. Let her go.
She pleads him with her eyes.

Ari is not a mean type person. In fact, she's too nice.
But her arm is starting to really hurt.
Like a bad burn. She cries out.

There's a door-bang sound as she goes into her room.

It's got a hand print burn.

Cruik smiles and sits at his desk. I guess the case is full of bottles and liquids.
The purpose of alchemy is to take regular, every day objects, and turn them into gold.

Astrid curled up on a chair in the library with a book in her lap, but she isn't getting much reading done as she is slowly drifting off to sleep there.

Matt hisses in disgust and gently touches her arm. I wish I could heal... So what happened?

Jezzie scoots closer to Cruik and watches intently.
That sounds simple. Sarcasm.

Ari sighs as though it's been a long day.
Well that was the girl I rescued. She's a blightwalker. And I guess because I saved her and was so nice to her, she got a crush on me. And she was drunk. And so I tried to talk to her and she started crying and trying to kiss me. And her glove was off so her hand burned my arm.

Tch... Matt sighs, then tries to hug Ari. I'm sorry, that's rough...

Cruik nod and begins to pour liquids.

Astrid is sleeping in a chair in the library, though she doesn't look like she is in a very comfortable postion.

A poof of red smoke appears in the kitchen, and from it, coughing.

"Stupid smoke teleportor."

As the smoke clears, a figure in a black tenchcoat and hat is seen.

Sept quickly plants a kiss on her husband before moving to get out of the bed. We should probably get up today... Of course he's still able to stop her if wanted.

June cheerfully holds Sark's hand, not sensing any danger from the man.

The man in the tenchcoat waves smoke away from his face.

"Finally, I wondered where HALO is. Now, since we're doing introductions, I'm Gordon, from AMEN."

In a quick move, he takes out a pistol and points it at Matt and Ari.

Ari is in the process of pulling up some druid magic.

Tobias rolls his eyes and shrugs. Fine, whatever you say.


Matt calmly steps right in front of the gun, blocking the barrel. Yeah?

"Wow, you guys don't even remember AMEN? Its a good thing I ended up here. After all, AMEN and HALO were archenemies."

He fires a ball of electricty at Matt, while backing up.

Good thing Sark and June left. June scoots closer to him, munching her food. Love you.

Ari fires a ball of energy to hit the ball of electricity.

Oh I remember. AMEN's a joke, practically. He steps around, launching a dozen plasma needles at Gordan.


Tobias finally chuckles and kisses her.

The needles go through the coat, but not through the body armor under it, and as the ball of electricity hits the ball of energy, there is a small explosion.

"Urgh. So, that's what you think I am? A joke? Well, even a joke can make you bleed."

Gordon rushes forward, taking out a knife and tries to slash Matt's arm.

[Moofin Bard]

Ari ducks to avoid the explosion so Matt is kind of on his own with the knife.

Sark grins.
But only with breakfast and pizza.

Yeah, you do... He smirks back.


Matt is cut and the knife sticks in his arm. He looks at Gordan, unimpressed, then tries to shove a plasma knife into his unprotected throat while he is right against Matt.

I can live off that for the rest of my life.

Sept and Tobias might here what's going on, but I'm guessing you all don't want to play characters all together like that. It's up to FF if they hear or not. Kind of scary, I'll admit.

Tobias doesn't seem to hear anything, or just trusts Matt and Ari can handle it. Either way, he just tries to hug Sept.


If he's got armor over the throat, then Matt aims for his forehead with the incredibly hot blade.

Gordon leaps back, taking a tic to his neck.

"Urgh! You'll pay for that."

He takes out another knife, and raises his shock pistol, pointing it at Matt.

Ari gasps when Matt is cut.
She leaps on Gordon's back and tries to choke him.
Someone isn't thinking clearly.

Sark chuckles.

It's bad for you.

She hugs him back tightly, must better from a few nights ago.

June grins at him. It can't be bad if it tastes so good.

Matt's arm already starts healing, and he calls up more of his celestial power to hurl two plasma knives at Gordan's head.


Tobias smiles and just holds Sept tightly.

She nuzzles into him happily. Merry Christmas.

Gordon is pushed down by Ari choking him, which might cause Matt's knives to hit her. He tries to slab her a few times as well, to make her stop choking him.

The knives just barely manage to go over Ari's head. Gordon gets her once in the arm and she lets go and falls off of him.

Matt growls in anger, then takes a few steps forward and, while Gordan is struggling with Ari, aim a powerful knee up towards the man's nose.


Merry Christmas. He peacefully runs a hand down her wings.

Well, that broke his nose.

"Ouch. Hat 'as my 'ose."

Gordon points the pistol at Ari and points the knife at Matt.

"Ack off, or els she 'ets it."

So we want to eat it all the time!

She gives a small shiver. Any plans for anything?

Yeah like a gun is going to scare her. There was a nice potted plant in the corner. There are now large vines growing out of it trying to pull Gordon's legs and trip him.

Matt creates another plasma knife, wishing he had a good sword, and leaps forward to try and shove it in Gordan's head if Ari succeeds in tripping him.

Not really. She pauses. So, there's another you? She seems more curious than upset.

That's a good thing though.

Well, that did it, Gordon is dead(for now) due to having a plasma knife through his head. The pistol that was in his hand starts making a high pitched whine.

Ari gets up, holding her arm, and looks at the gun.

Matt tries to kick the pistol down an empty hall before it asplodes.

Of course, now Matt and Ari have to deal with a body with its legs wrapped up in vines from a potted plant.

Patty, finding Ari gone when she shrugs off her deadtime, goes looking for her...and hearing fighting, rushes torwards it!

Matt wrenches the knife out of his arm to let it heal the rest of the way, then looks at Ari. Are you all right?


Tobias smiles and nuzzles her back. Why, am I too old for you?

Mmhmm... She tries to hold back her giggle.

June finishes up her food, rubbing her belly cutely.

She then gets a look at the injuries.

And faints!

She bats those eyelashes of hers. Now you know I like older men.

Ari goes over to her.
That's rather unfortunate.
She makes her own bandage out of kitchen cloths and tape.

Matt just gapes at his ravenhaired fiance. Is she kidding? Did she really just pass out at the sight of blood? As a little reminder, Matt's blood is sort of a violet hue.


Tobias evidently had another quip ready on his tongue, but those damn eyelashes distract him. :smalltongue:

Patty comes around fairly quickly, thankfully. She's not Quinn. :smalltongue:

And she passed out at seeing both of them hurt...

Shaking her head, Patty quickly tries to scramble up and cast a Cure (Moderate) spell on Ari.

Matt just shakes his head and chuckles. Hey Patty, do you have narcolepsy?

Ari elbows him teasingly as both the cut and the burn heal. There's still an angry red mark on her arm however. Be nice. She kisses him.

"You wish." Patty looks between the two of them, and notes the stiff on the floor. "What happened in here?" she asks, trying to stay calm, as opposed to panicked - or furious. As she tries casting another Cure spell on that nasty red mark.

Matt kisses Ari back and chuckles. Some guy from AMEN showed up looking for a fight...

The red mark wont go away. Ari giggles.
But I think we showed him.

Patty chuckles softly, still looking worried. "Well, good for you. Both of you." She steps forwards to kiss both of them...then back a little. "That mark won't go away..."

Matt will get a Cure spell if he needs it. :smalltongue:

Arlem walks about the halls, looking down at the ground.

She blushes at Patty's kiss.

Matt's countenance darkens a little as he's reminded of Ari's injury.

Kevin's mind is easily able to be read. Except for those governmental secrets hidden and locked up way in the back. Right now he's just shy and thinking about what he should say or do next in order to get through this social encounter. Um, no, I don't think so?

Arlem will find a plethora of details about every single detail possibly related to rocks and the earth. Druidic names for every single mineral and stone, spells for cutting and shaping gems and rocks, architectural schematics for tunnels, walls, and bridges. And not much else. Kevin is pretty much a savant when it comes to his Druidic specialization, but isn't very skilled at much else...
Um, nothing really... Practicing my magic, I guess... Oh, and yourself?

Angie returns to HALO after a long time gone. And she doesn't look to hot right now. She has some bruises on her face, some blood in her teeth, and a large painful looking stab wound in her stomach. She stumbles out of the air lock and looks around. She slowly starts to walk towards the infirmary.

Dante takes her shoes and pants off and pulls the covers over her.
