I've got a new USB headset, and i want to be able to switch between it and my speakers without having to unplug them (or trudge through long menus). my googling hasn't turned up anything useful.

so i beseech you oh playgrounders! *starts dancing around a bonfire chanting rhythmically* :smalltongue:

edit: windows xp, and as i mentioned, doing it through menus is obnoxiously time consuming.

What OS are you using? Windows of some flavor or another? If so, which? Are you using a Mac? Is your machine running some flavor of Linux?

On a Windows machine there should be something in your sound settings to choose your output. I can only assume there is something similar in other OS's.

Not to be unhelpful, but, I know this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135059) fell off the first page for lack of usage, but really, it's a good idea so try to post there instead of making four to five threads per day* on this topic.
