A wall of force is up to 10ft square per level. But does it have to come in 10ft squares? Could you in theory have a wall that was one inch wide and 47 feet long per level?

That would be quite painful to run into.

Anyway, as far as I know, there aren't any specific rules setting minimum dimensions for walls, but the SRD gives the following general rules for shapes:


(S) Shapeable
If an Area or Effect entry ends with "(S)," you can shape the spell. A shaped effect or area can have no dimension smaller than 10 feet. Many effects or areas are given as cubes to make it easy to model irregular shapes. Three-dimensional volumes are most often needed to define aerial or underwater effects and areas.

Since tactical battles in D&D are measured in increments of 5 feet, it's very fiddly to use anything that doesn't divide neatly into 5-foot units.
