Signiture rules clarification?

Just a question about the signature size rules, when it states that images total height must not exceed 120 px does it mean that you are allowed to have more than one image under 120 px as long as they are next to each other?

For example imagine each smiley is 120px high, would this be allowed?:

:smallsmile::smallsmile::smallsmile:

As opposed to:

:smallsmile:
:smallsmile:
:smallsmile:

Or does it mean that all the images in your sig's height added together must not exceed 120 px?

Yes. (Assuming that they don't exceed the width limit in that configuration.)
