While roleplaying, either on this forum or with my friends, my characters frequently get into fights, either starting them or being pulled in. While in the fight, I find that songs that I like, from movies or otherwise, playing in my head according to what's happening. Or, sometimes when I listen to music, I'll find a song that would sound cool to have a fight to. Does anyone else do either of these things?

Yes - but I never use music with lyrics, and try to keep it on repeat. Encounters - battle or otherwise - always last longer than the music.

You could always piratebuy soundtracks from games you like (http://www.soundtrack.net/albums/database/?id=4170).

I'm going to second the no lyrics, keep on repeat sentiment. The exception being songs with foriegn/nonsense lyrics. Unless the setting is more modern, then lyrics can be good.

I've always wanted to have a saloon shoot-out to "Diamonds and Guns."

Yes. I use soundtracks ALL the time for writing.

I pretty much constantly have a soundtrack going in my head, usually based on what I have a recent interest in.

...Iji (http://www.remar.se/daniel/iji.php) is currently on my mind, so my mind is filled mostly with hard rock.
