Ok, it's widely known thet Belkar took a level in Barbarian, at the Barbarian's Guild, but I don't remember him going into any rage. Am I missing something or it's supposed that his permanent angry-violent reaction at combat supersedes the emotional state of a rage? :smalleek:

The only time I can recall was right before they got to the black dragon's lair, and he used a "Halfling Rage Jumping Attack!"

Let's be fair here. Belkar's not the world's greatest roleplayer.

He's probably using the benefits without bothering to act all angry. Getting angry at his opponents is more Roy's thing, Belkar just enjoys killing.

This probably counts. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0685.html)

Belkar lives his life in a rage.

I dunno... I tend to look at it as a Chekhov's Gun. (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ChekhovsGun) It was shown to us for a reason, and it will be used when dramatically appropriate.

Honestly, that's what I assumed this (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0439.html) was.

Nevertheless, we do know that when Thog rages, his skin color changes. See here http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0387.html

So, if in the OotS world raging slightly obscures your skin, it seems like Belkar hasn't raged yet, as far as I remember.

It's possible, but given the comic's penchant for characters calling their special abilities/attacks and the one clear example of Barbarian Rage (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0387.html) we've witnessed, it doesn't seem likely.

Edit: Ninja'd! *stabs Blas de Lezo*

Thog's rage was mean't to be a hulk joke and belkar is not green,so it is possible that that is just how thog rages

Every rage is different...

Every rage is different...

Great...now that statement will become the title of a song parody somewhere...ha.

Anyway, probably what's happened is that Belkar...unlike Yor...knows that he doesn't have to should out all his special menuvers. In fact the only classes I've seen do it are magic users (because we need to know what spell their using) and Rogues with their sneak attacks (Mostly Haley for reasons henceforth unknown but probably just because it's a running gag).

All happy halflings are the same. But every unhappy, psychotic, murderous halfling is psychotic and murderous in his own way.
