Hello Playground!

It's Glyphic, and I've a small favor to ask of you. An eternally grateful Glyphic is your reward, and the good feeling that you've spurred heroes into action!

I'm starting a table top game soon, and it's a novel idea I'm trying.. Pick up Dnd. One day quests, with whomever happens to show up. But I need a starting platform.


My request, is the generation of 8 or so heroes- two of each role, or more if the playground is so kind. Here's the details...

Level 6 heroes, of any race. They'll begin with the standard 22 point buy, and magical items. (7th level, 6th leve, 5th level, and gold= the price of a 5th level item). Any power source is okay. I prefer material from Phb1&2, martial/arcane/primal power, Ebberon, and the FR books.


The game doesn't begin until next week. For those that do help, I'll be sure to immortalize you with a tribute!

I'd be careful here... some of the point-buy choices don't make sense: A Dragonborn Thaneborn Barbarian without a Charisma bonus but 14 Int, an Elf Avenger of Pursuit with higher Int than Dex... an Eladrin Starlock, a Deva Ranger...

Beast-form focused Druid. I call her Kitty. AV2 has some good items for her, but I built this with only AV1 and PHB 1&2 items.

Yeah, even the logical build option is semi-random, so none of them are going to be perfect. I figure with infinity to choose from, you can afford to have some percentage of them come up a little weird.

I'd post up a couple of my characters, but we always play with homebrewed magic items so they wouldn't be too useful for you.

Were you objecting to that choice on flavor, or crunch grounds? AP fluff enables the Star Pact as a solid secondary choice for Eladrin:

"Their background in ancient history, fey entities, and distant
stars gives them the know-how to safely form pacts."

Though of course, Feylocks come first for Eladrin on both counts.

Crunch, mostly. Starlocks as-is generally like to keep both their Con and Cha high, so an Eladrin Starlock, who gets bonuses to neither, is going to be forced to make the choice between one or the other even more so than most Starlock races.

Shielding Swordmage. High mobility defender using a lot of teleports. Has a surplus of immediate actions to keep things interesting, but be careful to keep track of that once-per-round immediate.
