So I picked up Darksiders yesterday.
It's just plain awesome. Think God of War style combat in a Legend of Zelda game.
For those not in the know, you play as War, one of the Four Horsemen, who is tricked into triggering the apocalypse too early. He is punished by the Charred Council, a neutral body that holds the balance between Heaven and Hell, but convinces them to let him out on parole, with a cross between Navi and the Joker (even voiced by Mark Hamill too!) as his parole officer. Sent back to the barren wastelands that remain of Earth, War must regain his former strength and punish those responsible.
But yeah, it's great. What do you think?
