So, the rogue/skillmonkey type of our party is looking for a little build advice. He said this about his build:

"My sheet will be in soon. Focusing on int and dex with a penalty in str at mo. Any idea for feats or good prestige class, I like the flavor of master of mask but it execution pretty poor. I playing a changeling with 3 identities. Male gambler, female bugler and famous male actor. Anyway suggestion welcome"

Rogues are not my strong suit. What should he do? Classes, PrCs to head toward and feat suggestions are what I am looking for.

We don't have Dungeonscape, so unless there is a link to Factotum online, that is out, sadly.

Did he mean burglar? Or does he actually plan on playing a bugle? :smallconfused:

If he's willing to play a human (or the DM is willing to hand wave the racial restrictions) it seems like Chameleon (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20041210b&page=1) would be perfect. I'm also a big fan of strait Bard (which is quite potent when optimized). Other good Skill focused classes include the Incarnate, Marshal (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20030906b), Beguiler, Psychic Rogue (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723b), Psychic Assassin (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040723b), Lurk, and even strait Rogue (with the right feats).
