So. For one of my PbP games I want to play a Warden of the Hedge (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=126592) turned apostate and Seiškona of the Iron Bands (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131375). But I don't really know what class or race to play. Paladin with at least a one-level dip of an Arcane casting class of some sort, obviously, since I want to play a Warden of the Hedge. But what class to dip? Straight paladin or a small dip and something else? And, above all, what race? Elf is too boring, I'd like something a little more flavorful than that, but all the other playable fey I know of are very small, sneaky, and not exactly knightly.

Anybody have some ideas? The game is fifteenth level, so I can handle a bit of LA, but I'd like to balance two PrCs so I'd rather keep it low.

Half-Fey Elf? Or Feytouched Elf?

They're pretty good templates.

Heck, if you just don't like elves, Half-Fey Human or Half-Fey Half-Orc or whatever should work too.

Half-fey is a good idea, but where is Feytouched from? I can't say I'm familiar with it...

Savage Species, I think. In any case you can see all the important mechanical details here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/sp/20040213a).

Have you heard of Killoren? From Races of the Wild. They're Medium, Fey, and protectors-of-the-wilds type creatures.

Ooooh. Not familiar with them, but it certainly sounds perfect.
