How can you get a poisonous bite attack?

I think the Yuan-ti Fangs graft works. Fiend Folio, I believe.

Be a Druid. There's also spells, a graft, and IIRC a magic item that grant it. It'll be easier if you tell us why you need it and what you're playing.

Hood of the Cobra (CM) gives you a "poisonous" bite attack.

There might be a way to do it with Incarnum or Psionics, but I'm not familiar with any.

Hairy Spider, Monsters of Faerun. Fine Creature. Plus this: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20040621a

(Note it doesn't say the alternate form ability is based on the vermin you picked, for some reason. Note also I am not responsible for any books thrown at you for suggesting this to anyone)

I need something that will work when I am in a polymorph-like effect (a tibbit's cat form) because I am a ranger and venomfire wins.

Prevenom, 1st level Psychic Warrior power, assuming you already have a bite. If not, use bite of the wolf which is also a 1st level PW power.

Venomfire requires it to a natural poison.

Actually, prevenom (and truevenom) only works with claws, for some reason.

IIRC Geomancer get's one as a Drift ability.

I think there's also a Lolth feat in one of the Forgotten Realms books that adds a poisonous bite attack. I'd look it up on realmshelp, but I'm blocked at work.

Ah, you're right! I totally missed that.

No, it just means, if you cast it on something with no poison, nothing happens
