I Love It When A Movie Comes Together... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TzHnpBlufCU)

So what do people think? Awesome or awful?

Also, you will be now humming the theme tune constantly :smalltongue:

I pity the fool who directs this.

How could they recast a role that was essentially Mr. T playing himself? He could totally still play the role!

Seriously, I just saw him in Rocky III, and then in one of those WoW commercials. The man hasn't aged in almost 30 years.

I'd watch it. Not cause I think it'd be good or anything really, but it'd be funny to see someone trying to play Mr. T. Failure is one of the best things to see in a movie.

Add in the Darkman and I would definitely waste some time on this.

I disagree utterly with the assessments.
This BA is obviously NOT Mr. T. Also, they have a tank. Parachuting from a blown up plane. While Bradley Cooper fires from a machine gun into another plane.
What is not awesome about this movie?

This BA is obviously NOT Mr. T.

And here is where the problems start.

What is not awesome about this movie?Seriously, it's like that McBain trailer they showed in an episode of The Simpsons.

Also, people watched The A-Team for reasons other than Mr. T? :smallconfused:

Nope.

Except that one liner: ''I love it when a plan comes toghetter.''

AND the theme. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyz_2DEah4o&fmt=18)

Screw subtlety, that should have just played through the whole trailer.

Remaking the A-Team without Mr. T is like ... remaking Flash Gordon without having Queen do the soundtrack. Why would you spend so many millions of dollars on something that is so clearly going to fail?

Seems like everyone's complaint is no Mr. T...

I tend to agree... that man in the trailer is no B.A. Baracus...

'Specially since I think... think I might have seen him conscious on an airplane.

I ain't gettin' on no plane!

I pity the fool who thinks Mr. T won't be in this movie. He just has to be. Of course, it will probably be a crappy one-scene cameo, but he will be there.

I think this movie is... wrong... just so wrong. I like Liam Neeson in it though.

It seems like it isn't taking itself seriously. That's a good thing. Also the tank drop scene gave me a hard-on from all the awesome. I have great hopes for this film.

I did like the "bad attitude" reference in the trailer.

I'm sure that this movie's plot will be handled with the same dignity and restraint as the original series.
Yes, the trailer looks ridiculous. No, that isn't a bad thing.

The only way the movie will be as awesome as the show is if we get huge explosions where nobody gets hurt. Those are awesome. We need more of those.

I can't wait to see Rampage Jackson as Mr. T as B.A. Baracus. Saw the trailer last night, and while I think Rampage is a hilarious guy, I don't think his acting is even up to the level of being B.A. He should stick to punching dudes in the head and saying really dumb things :smalltongue:

Explosions where no one gets hurt? Oh, if they wanna be true to the original, its gonna take more than that!

MORE DAKKA!!! to the extreme with no one getting hit! THATS what we need!

You know that scene with the tank and the parachutes? The parachutes need to be shot off while Bradley Cooper is on the roof, so that the tank free falls. It crashes, and explodes, and we see the whole crew by its side, and Cooper deadpans "That was lucky".

Flash Gordon with the Queen was a remake. Remember the old Republic serials?

Used to be on TV when I was a kid. The only reason I got up early during the Christmas Holidays...
