Do handguns/laser pistols count as light weapons to resolve the penalties of fighting with two weapons?

1: No. Pretty much any handgun is considered a one-handed weapon.

2: Wrong forum. You want the Roleplaying Forum (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=30) for questions about DnD.

The game of life.
Though I am kind of curious about where you got those laser pistols from :smalltongue:

Sorry for my failure to specify.

The game is D20 Modern. The Laser Pistol is from the D20 Future supplement.

Mother-of-!!! Has someone been breaking into my garage *AGAIN!?* I thought I put an end to that by brutally murdering the last secret organization...

Humans, they're like cockroaches. Only way to keep them out of the cereal is to fumigate the city.

I remember a character of mine in a WEG Star Wars game invented Gun-Chucks. They were two blaster pistols joined by a chain. I'm not sure how they were supposed to work but it was the coolest idea ever.

I never played with that kind of weapon, but as I think it will not be suitable to take a small target. because there will be two shots fired at once.

I think you misunderstand me. Imagine two pistols (blaster or regular) where a length of chain connects the butts of the two guns.

No dude.

One of my friends was also playing a Star Wars game, and his DM allowed him to take a Jedi Ewok dual-wielding saber-chucks.

Go on Youtube and try to find the Double Glocks video. It's a BB gun with a second BB gun attached underneath it, for double the fun.
