I'm planning on playing a character by the build of sorc1/cleric1/favored soul1/mystic theurge3/true necromancer 14. This gets me to 20th level, but advancing sorcerer and favored soul through it all only gets me 8th level spells by level 20. If at level 21 and 22 I were to take more levels of mystic theurge, would that get me level 9 spells, or would I be cut off from 9th level spells forever? The wording in Epic Level Handbook is a bit confusing on the matter.

Thanks for the help!

Continuing Mystic Theurge would get you higher level spells. The wording in the ELH is intended to mean that, once you hit the end of a particular class's spells per day table, epic does not add a continuation of it. If you have not yet gotten to the end of the pre-epic spells per day table, you can continue advancing on it until you do. After you finish off that table further levels in that class's progression do not give more spells per day, but they do give higher caster level and usually have an epic bonus feat progression.
