Flaws - An OoTS Style Webcomic

Once, all characters were perfectly healthy, normal people in DnD. They all had regular personalities and generally were in good health, or at least stable health. One day, however, someone realized something critical about all these perfectly normal, stable adventurers:

Nobody adventures for a living because they're normal.

Thus, the Flaw system was introduced to DnD. From what i've seen, though, the system is downplayed too much by too many people as a way to gain extra feats, when instead Flaws are what define a person.

These adventurers, on the other hand, take the system too much to heart... Which is especially sucky, since the fate of the world rests on their shoulders.

....

We're all gonna die.

Well, it was an easy comic to make, but we are trying to keep the villains shadowy until our protagonists meet them (or until they get better lighting) and, as you said, most of the expression is in the eyes. If you were talking about how the panels were smaller than usual, thats because if I would have made a normal sized comic there would have been way too much empty space. Also I still have to make the templates for these guys:smalltongue:

He's a mid to high level Dragon Blood Sorcerer (true sorcerer variant from somewhere on the forums). I haven't worked out the exact level yet but his backstory neccesitates a lot of power.

Rae's been grounded for a while, which is why the comic is late. We apologize for the delay and will have it up soon.

Dakar's a pyromaniac. He and Alago ran from a town they Dakar set on fire. They met a barbarian named Alai who took compulsive skinny dipper and went to meet up with one of Alago's old adventuring buddies.

They then explain to Hodari that Alago and Dakar need transport north via teleportation circle and Alai needs him to come back to fix a servant that he had put in the fire that was killing everybody. Dakar needs to go because he stole that amulet he wears from them, Alago's reasons are left mostly ambiguous (though it's clear he knows who one of the villians is and it's hinted they took something from him) and Alai needs to go because Hodari is being a **** and wouldn't fix it for her so she needs to kill it via enchanted weapons bought up north.

I think so anyway... it's kind of weird needing to review stuff you wrote yourself *shrug*
