View Full Version : [3.5] Any good homebrew condensed archery feats?

High, I've been thinking of condensing the archery (and ranged combat in general) feats into something more... manageable.

For example, Point Blank Shot is a prerequisite for everything, and yet it's neither good nor very logical. Rapid Shot could be condensed with Improved Rapid Shot (so that it scales with level - I think Fax did something similar with the TWF feat chain).

Actually, there are a lot of things on my mind about this, but I wanted to ask if someone has done it already. Searching the Homebrew section failed me, so... does anyone know?

Thanks in advance. :)

Well, I don't remember off-hand but that seems to be a rather common balance fix; PBS either being granted automatically or being rolled into Precise Shot and TWF feats being all rolled into TWF-line. Rebalancing 3.5 (http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=2096.0) definitely does something of the sort. I'm not also only one who I know of using it as a houserule, but I don't think those are posted anywhere, though I'm sure someone's are.

Hmm, thanks to both of you, but these aren't quite what I was looking for. I wanted something a bit more "radical", I guess. Oh well. It was worth a try. :)
