If a character had the Tomb-Tainted Soul feat, would the Negative Energy Plane function like the Positive Energy Plane and vice versa?

Asking mostly out of boredom. And a bit of insomnia.

And yes, that is stupid.

I would say DM's call.

Then again I am answering mostly out of boredom. And a bit of insomnia.

It's not quite that cut-and-dry. Yes, the bonus HP is due to the plane granting fast healing 5, but its also specifically called out as positive energy in the plane's description. Because the TTS feat refers to "being damaged by positive energy," the DM can rule either way.

Also, the negative energy plane damage is in fact negative energy.

Anyone with Tomb Tainted Soul will heal (but not gain temp HP) in a minor negative dominant area.

In the major dominant areas they will take negative levels, so they need to be immune to negative levels/energy drain in order to survive for long in those areas. (Or just have a +24 fort bonus and Steadfast Determination.)
