Long time lurker, first time poster here. I just couldn't resist. :smallbiggrin:

I haven't played Dungeons and Dragons, or any sort of RPG, for a long time. And yet I have always continued to read OotS, faithfully as ever. I came into the story roughly around strip 300, and haven't been able to stay away. I have since moved on to browsing the forums once I got caught up, and, somewhat surprisingly, have enjoyed what I found there as well.

So why should I start posting now? Because it's strip 700. Because I've been reading the forums for a while and want to get in on the fun. And mostly because OotS has been a unique reading experience for me, combining comics, fantasy RPG, nerd humor, and thoroughly high quality storytelling. The forum seems to be among the best available, and I look forward to an enjoyable exchange of ideas with you, the established forum members.

So thank you, Rich, for still going strong after 700 strips, and thank you, forum members, for keeping a small shard of the internet safe, sane, and enjoyable.

GiTP is pretty good compared to most gaming forums. I find it vastly entertaining. I used to hang out on Pojo.biz ( back when I played ygomonz ) a lot until It was overan with idiots. I even used to write for thier main site. Pojo sir was a nice guy.
