I think you have to have over a B cup for stretchmarks up there though, as that's the only time I've noticed 'em up there and every woman with C and up has had 'em in my experience. As admittedly limited as it is.

Well, uh, I went from a B to a D in about 8 months, and, yeah, that caused stretch marks. I also get them on my thighs, from getting a bit fat recently (and my hips filling out).

So joy, moisturiser is my friend

I have a small doll of you--a fetish, if you will--constructed from a paper towel tube and two strands of brown yarn. It sounds crude, I know, but I've refined it with fine tools, and the resemblance really is uncanny by now.

Every single day for the past eight months, I've hugged it to myself and whispered to it my dreams.

One day it brutally murdered me.

I don't see how "taking a picture for the 'net" isn't an acceptable reason.
Then again, I also have considered cosplaying as a character from Lucky Star, so I suppose I can't say I have normal standards for acceptable.

(Yes, Lucky Star, the anime that revolves around school girls. I wasn't gonna go for a male cosplay, I was gonna go for a school girl. Aside from being really skinny, my body is extrememly masculine. I didn't care. I was gonna wear a short skirt and look good in it!)

Not really.
There are a number (I don't know how big the number is, unfortunately; I haven't read most of the books) of andalites who can change form into most creatures they've touched.
Imagine seeing an andalite, relaxing, then seeing that andalite turn into a friggin' BEAR and start mauling you.
Replace bear with a terrifying carnivorous predator, if you want.

They didn't invent books, or if they did, it wasn't common enough knowledge for the 6th ranger they got to know about Andalites having developed them. If they ever got them it was from stealing the idea/techniques from humans.

I never got far in the series, sadly; from what I've seen online (I read spoilers on TV Tropes), it gets pretty awesome/ridiculous (which, in my mind, is mostly the same thing).
I though I saw something about most/all being able to morph, but being fairly unfamiliar with a series makes me cautious.

I really need to get pictures of me (JUST me) in my full cosplay (with crocheted Pokeball, not originally included) and with my other two hats... They didn't invent books, or if they did, it wasn't common enough knowledge for the 6th ranger they got to know about Andalites having developed them. If they ever got them it was from stealing the idea/techniques from humans.Quite right, sorry. What I meant was, although they had computers but not books, that doesn't necessarily mean they didn't have writing. It's possible, but I don't think it's ever mentioned.

An Andalite costume would be an interesting twist on the ol' pantomime horse...

I refuse to believe that picture a few pages back was Zero. Zero is not a being, but a figment. I am entirely, one hundred percent positive that Player_Zero is the first recorded Cyber-Tulpa, an inorganic sentience existing only in the ether of the internet, and only thanks to enough of us proto-forms believing him real.

That image is a fake. It is a shop. I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.

I still feel strange that the only thing I noticed was more mussed hair and the hat being at a different angle.

I must be rather unobservant or something. :smallconfused:

d13: I like that door. And the shirt. But that door has a rather interesting widget on it. Almost like a door knocker except surely purely decorative since it's an interior door. And the shirt is on you, which means it's own niftiness is multiplied by about 2.4

I miss the Animorphs novels. I didn't get exceptionally far into it, but I did read quite a bit. Quadruple Asterisk-yeah, Marco and Ax. I heard how it ends, though, and don't think I would have liked it :smallfrown:

I actually disagree with the usual pessimistic view of the end of the series, I mean how many scores of times did a chapter end with "Holy crap disaster there's absolutely no way we could possibly get out of this one we're all going to die!" then, next chapter, there's a lucky break/deus ex machina/stroke of genius, and they manage to scrape through. The end of the series, I don't see as being any different. We just don't get the next "I can't believe we survived that!" chapter.

That's why cover stories and telling them what they wanna hear exist. I'd go with testing out an idea for a costume for a party/halloween early this year at a minimum.

Look, I'm running out of excuses here. :smallannoyed:

Quite. There's really only one situation in which it's appropriate and that's right after someone else has gotten into one's skirt and removed it. At least, I think it's skirts that you're never supposed to remove yourself in those sorts of situations. I don't think it's jeans, given life experience and sentiments encountered on the matter. Might just be dresses themselves though that I'm thinking about.

They're not quite the right sort of cut as they end at an awkward place if one just wants to show off one's body if I recall, and there's better, more flattering ways of doing that anyway.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I'm TALKING BOUT ARTZ!

# The average adult human figure is about 7 to 7.5 heads tall.
# The idealized human figure is traditionally represented as being 8 heads tall:

1. From the top of the head to the chin
2. from previous position to the nipples
3. from previous position to the navel
4. from previous position to the crotch
5. from previous position to mid-thigh
6. from previous position to just below the knees
7. from previous position to the middle of the shinbone (the tibia)
8. from previous position to the feet

At different periods art tended towards more elongated forms, the most extreme of which was covered in my last survey of art history course was about 12 heads.

I believe Bayonetta is about 12-13(or at least the collectible figurine), for comparison to a hyper-sexualized feminine ideal from more recent times.

It seemed your form was elongated by the angle and environment such that you were around 8.5 or so heads tall. Something noticeably more than 7 at any rate.

P.S. You're not le gawky, at least not in the photos we've seen. So you definitely have the capability to stop.

Or maybe Nevada, I think there are one or two there...Actually, their website lists 9 in Las Vegas proper alone, and more than a handful in the Phoenix area, and a few more in the Tucson area. So I think it's more widespread than you realize, but yeah, I didn't see any near Oklahoma (though their search feature is crappe, you have to either know the city or the county where one exists, you can't just say "find the nearest one").

My avatar picture is one that Puddingtroll had taken earlier this week. He was so fascinated by the photog's camera that by the time she snapped this picture he had his face all the way up almost against the lens. He actually bumped his face on the plastic around the lens right after this was snapped. Good thing she was easy going. A lot of pro's might have been very upset with a 7 month old pawing their very expensive camera.

I have a new skirt!

http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/vv279/soggyspaghetti/IMG_0602.jpg

It's about mid-calf length, and delightfully twirly.Twirly-skirt! =D
If only it was warm enough so that I could actually wear it outside. :smallfrown:Invest in thick woolen stockings, tall boots, long-sleeved shirts and jumpers that go with it, and a good coat. You'll be golden!

In my experience, it's actually a pretty common name in my age group....and according to questionable websites, it's been in the top 50 since 1987.Well, that sounds about right, considering 1987 was when the Kayla I know was born and I know for certain that she was named after a very popular soap opera character at the time. As for it being in the top 50, I've never actually met another person named Kayla so that's why I was under the impression it was less common than it apparently is.

V, you look like my cousin. But with shorter hair. And clean-shaven.

Your cousin sounds pretty attractive then (narcisisim)

Nameless, you are freakishly cute, but you also have freakishly long fingers! :smalleek:

Also, do we need to make a new YOU! thread now that it's hit the big five-oh?

V: Typically, you're supposed to start a new thread when it hits 50 pages...
