An astronaut moonwalks into the arena. As he touches the ground, you notice many tiny golden orbs orbiting his head. Houston, we have a problem! Challenger approaching!

Altaria87
2010-01-26, 04:36 PM
You are strangely transported to an Arena somewhere in the Higher planes. There is a temple behind you and the ground in this particular area is made of golden clouds. Before you stands what appears to be an aged Altaria, with power seemingly radiating from him.
”Good Morning. I am what Altaria will become in the future. His ‘epic’ form so to speak. You have been given the honour of seeing the Charge. Let us duel."
He then pauses and studies you.
"Ahh, you are another that shares a mental bond with the one known as 'Shadow Elf'. I did not know he seeked revenge so heatedly. I see you have brought to me a deck geared solely to defeat mine. Well, you may be able to, but I won't go down without a fight."
He doesn’t have a duel disk, 40 cards just appear behind him as the duel begins, five of them then move into a line in front of him, glowing with a faint silver light.

The astronaut's eyes glow violet for a second, and he speaks in the lilting Elven voice of Shadow Elf. This is merely as... curiosity. What did you expect, when you named your Deck "Invincible"? I have duties in the Tomb however. This one shall duel you of his own accord. The man shakes his head, and his eyes return to normal. Are you ready?

Invincible is simply a soothing ballad by a British band named Muse. It is just also the most appropriate one he could think of for this deck that was still humorous."

I summon my ally,Garoth, Lightsworn Warrior (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Garoth,_Lightsworn_Warrior) and play a face-down. Then Garoth attacks that face down of yours.
One of the cards in the row in front of Altaria dissapears and becomes a huge ray of light that shines into the sky. It then comes down and from it steps a blue-haired man wielding a massive axe. Also one of the other cards in Altaria's 'hand' moves into a face down position behind Garoth. Who then slams your face down with his axe.

You activate my facedown card as you attack... Macro Cosmos! Suddenly, both duelists are surrounded by the vacuum of space. Out here, there is no such thing as a Graveyard! It also special summons me Helios - The Primordial Sun, in defense mode! Now, my facedown hapens to be Needle Worm, who sends the top five cards of your deck... into the void of space! My worm then follows them into the void. Do you still end your turn?

Altaria87

[As you summoned Helios as I declared an atttack, I am entitled to change the target to Helios. Which I will to prevent it from becoming a threat.]
Garoth's axe changes in mid swing to attack the new threat that has arisen

Now, I sacrifice Garoth to summon Celestia, Lightsworn Angel. Now, four more of my cards may be removed from play, but that is it. For I use her ability to destroy Macro Cosmos and after that D.D. Survivor (so Survivor goes to the graveyard).
Move will continue after the mill
Now, my monsters should continue to simply go to the graveyard now, where their sould can rest in peace. Celestia, destroy his Needle Worm!

As you summon Celestia, I activate Grand Covergence (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Grand_Convergence) from my hand! You take 300 damage, and then all of our monsters are destroyed and removed from play, Celestia included. My D.D. Survivor will return in the end phase. Do you change you turn at all?

Altaria87
2010-01-29, 02:28 AM
Altaria shakes his head at you
"In your blind anger you forgot that you have to set Quick-Play spell cards (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Quick-Play) first if you wish for them to activate in my turn. And even if Celestia was destroyed, her effect would still activate, destroying Macro Cosmos and, since you activated Convergence, your face down."

((... did not know that. *facepalm*. I have always thought, since the advent of Quick-Play Spells, that they could be played from the hand at any time... if it had been facedown, how would the summon of your monster resolve? I suppose it is too late, but I am curious to see how the effects chain (when things get complex in this game, I start to get confused :smallsigh:). So sorry for not knowing the rules...))

Had it been face down, Celestia's effect would have still happened as she was summoned, even is she was destroyed immediately afterwards, if I had chosen to destroy the face down that happened to be Grand Convergence with part of the effect, then it would sitll be 'destroyed' after its effect activated. So if you have a trap/quick play about to be destroyed by Heavy Storm, MST, etc. if you can activate it you should if it doesn't hinder you, as you'd lose it anyway.
Anyway, your turn

((When you search "Morphing Jar #2" in the YGO Wiki, it redirects to Morphing Jar #1 (wtf?). I did not notice that it had. So yes, it is indeed MJ #2... In that case, Morphing Jar #2 is useless to me in this situation, and I would have the set the other monster in my hand. Do you mind if I do that? I'm sorry I do not know my deck all that well, but I depend on the wiki to remind me of how my cards effects work precisely, and it redirected my search.

EDIT: It said this @ the top of the page, and I did not notice. "Typing "Morphing Jar #2" leads you here. If you were searching for that card, see: Morphing Jar 2. "))

Whoa-ho! Awesome! with that, the astronaut moon walks back into space.

An image of Shadow appears. I do hope you are not upset. Naming your deck "Invincible" was just too much :smallwink:. My master has graced me with a truly frightening warrior. If you wish to take me on personally some time, I'm sure Obelisk would be happy to help me oblige. Until next time! I return to the Tomb.

The image vanishes.

((Any tips for my Macro Mill? It seemed to work pretty well, but I also got rather lucky.))

[Well firstly, you have got 3 copies of a semi-limited card (necroface) in your deck. You'll have to sort that out. Also, you may want to add a few copies of Gravekeeper's Retribution, just in case the opponent outlast your resources, also, Book of Moon is mandatory in a deck that focuses on flip effects.]
Shadow Elf later meets Altaria in the tomb.
"Look, I'm not here to duel, just to say one thing- you think of a better pun on a song name that goes with Lightsworns, particularly of the Alternative Rock/Hevay Rock genre."
