I am doing a recital of Spleen by Charles Baudelaire (pluviose and la cloche félée) in french (yes, I know this is an english forum). I need some music without vocals, fairly slow and lasting 4-5 minutes. Suggestions please?

No, spleen as in having the blues. No suggestions as such, but you might want to look at music from the same time-frame.

Its these poems in (http://bacfrancais.chez.com/spleen-LXXV.html) french (http://bacfrancais.chez.com/spleen-LXXV.html).
Basically, Baudelaire is depressed and melancholic.

Oooh!
Prelude in B Minor from Well-Tempered Klavier, Book I by Bach. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmxXVlXZUr8&feature=channel) The song starts about 1:35, the lady gives a preamble.
The fugue might work too, but the prelude is very atmospheric and has a sad, melodic, romanticism that would be great for Baudelaire.
Or in harpsichord (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGm-ZLqb2rQ&feature=related) if you prefer.
