so I found many templates (well at least 2, half-minotaur and half-ogre) that increase size

but is there one that reduces it?

Crushed.

Tiny size
-4 Str, -4 Dex, +2 Con, -2 Cha
Reduce speed by half
All equipment must be specially made to fit (double cost)

Note: This isn't a real template. Wouldn't it be awesome if it was though?

I think dungeonbred from Dungeonscape does... I'd have to check, though.

It decreases size by one step.

Is that one playable? Because I'd play a tiny sized Dungeonbred Halfling in a heartbeat.

Your original size has to be at least large, and it only works on certain monster types (animal, magical beast, abberation).

Actually, it could be argued that only Large creatures can take the template, by the wording.

so I could play a weird half-minotaur dungeonbred to not get a size increase, I guess that's something

Miniature is a template name from both Silverthorne Games' Book of Templates Deluxe Edition 3.5 and Green Ronin's Advanced Bestiary. The former decreases a creature by one size but can be used multiple times to shrink the creature, while the latter has a set base size to new shrunken size ratio.

is it an LA +0 Template?

The Book of Templates Deluxe Edition 3.5 one has an LA of "Variable", but indicates that any variation means getting closer to +0. So...yes to that one.

Return to Nature, from the ECS, IIRC, shrinks a Giant by one step. And it's instantaneous, so it stacks with itself. Want to be fine-sized? Be a half-giant!

Hmm... how would I apply this to a warforged? what would the LA be (I can't figure it out) to go from a warforged scout down to diminutive size?

A demilich only has to be any bone of the body, not just the head. Take a fingerbone, it's smaller.

I think an ear bone would be even smaller.

Creep factor is better if you're a floating, jeweled pelvis.

Well...How much LA does a warforged have? While there there is no concrete LA removal rules on the template, I'd personally rule it to be -1 per one or two sizes lost, heading toward 0.
