You awaken slightly disoriented in a stone room. It's about 25' wide and 45' long. The room is lighted by a single burning torch on the south wall. The room is otherwise empty. A closed iron door is in the north wall, and an open archway is in the east.

Heading eastward toward the archway Kiba softens his footsteps and remains in the shadows and peers into the Arch.

Sorry, the arch is on the west wall, not the east. I had it right on the map i gave you. I just said it wrong in the description.

The flickering torchlight from inside the room shows the hallway traveling 15 feet before turning north.

Continuing his silent movement Kiba stalks over to the door and puts an ear to it.

You hear a very soft scratching sound which reminds you of insects.

Backing away from the door slowly Kiba sneaks down the western hallway and heads north at the turn.

Walking through the archway, Kiba feels a slight pressure on his shin as he bumps against a tripwire. A distinct clanking can be heard from above an instant before a portcullis slams down.

Reflex Save and decide which direction you are moving (i.e., back into the room or into the hall).

You avoid the falling portcullis, jumping and rolling into the hall. Its large spikes embed themselves into the floor. Returning to the room will prove to be quite difficult.

The hall goes 15ft west before turning north for 15ft, ending in a wooden door.

Kiba continues toward the door this time keeping an eye out for tripwires or anything else nasty. When he gets to the door he will listen at it.

Kiba goes over the door inch by inch making sure beyond the shadow of a doubt that there are no traps on it.
