[Blue Ghost]

Torrents of rain pour down incessantly on the mountain, overfilling the valley below. The Sign of the Whale hanging in the sky is reflected eerily by the water below. Frogs are everywhere, pouring out in droves from the lake, falling from the sky mixed with the rain, hopping, croaking, singing their eerie song to the Whale. Zz'darrka you bottom-feeding scumbag! You are not worthy of the attention of Chacu Challhua! It was I , Niarthalep, who should have been the right hand of Chacu Challhua! I shall prove to the Jibakushin of the Whale that I am the worthier apostle!

Before the aboleth appears a mind flayer, dressed in rune-scribed robes with a dramatically high collar. It wields no mortal "duel disk" or other such petty card-game accoutrement.

I took these thralls from a drow priest of Lolth - he was a little too dead to care. I have made them stronger through my own powers, and now they will prove their might to Chacu Challhua! Tremble and despair, Zz'darrka, for I bring you oblivion!

The mind flayer then engages in a battle of wills to see who gets the initiative. At the same time, five presences, a mix of eldritch spells, cunning traps and mindless thralls appear around the illithid as five motes of light.

Gladiator Beast Gyzarus! Now, Gyzarus is powerless, of course, against the might of Chacu Challhua. But, as I am sure you have noted before, the Great Whale requires a world to live in! Gyzarus destroys your filthy bogs, and one of your Dupe Frogs. I then set a card facedown and activate a field spell of my own - Spider Web! The water drains out of the field as the whale is sent howling back into the geoglyph. The battlefield is then filled with disgustingly sticky spider webs. Gyzarus! Destroy the remaining Dupe Frog! After your precious frog is reduced to a fine paste, Gyzarus will tag out two Gladiator Beast Murmillos, who destroy your remaining monsters with their effects. I end my turn at that!

Heraklinos draws back his weapon, a sort of cybernetic cross between sword and spear, and prepares to launch the deadly javelin. Equeste flies up and charges the aboleth, throwing it into the air. Its body is kept in the air by the two leaping Dimacaries, who both slash it twice each in quick succession. Finally, Heraklinos's weapon collides with it, sending it soaring up into the Sign of the Whale, where its soul is consumed.

Niarthalep laughs telekentically into the night. Chacu Challhua, oh great Lord of Madness! Show me your power! I am yours to command! The squidlike creature throws its hands into the air in worship, staring into the great sign in the sky.
