Picture Wars is a spriting community that creates small-scaled sprites using primarily humble MS-paint for use in various turn-based forum games. It takes many forms, featuring ground-shaking battles, heroic quests, unimaginable acts of bravery and deep despair.

In a basic PW-game, the various players take turns, taking action with their characters, by editing the existing game picture. The most important thing to remember is that PW is in no means a competition. It's more of a sandbox format, a means of telling a story in pixelated ways.

It's also an ideal way to express ideas in spriting itself. Basically everything imaginable can be a PW-army, the possibilities are endless.

Yeah it's a known problem. You see, most of us use Filesmelt to upload their images, but Filesmelt has been having some problems and lots of downtime lately, so any reasonably old images won't show up properly most of the time.
