Yu-Gi-Oh PbP Exhibition - Shadow Elf vs Allan A. Aokage

[Allan Surgite]

A shimmering light took on the form of the first person to enter the arena; the holographic system had come some way. It took on a standard human form, a duel-disk placed upon it's arm - a cloak that would not have been out-of-place a few hundred years ago covered the shining body, exposing only the arm and the disk. Despite it's attempts to look "natural," it did not blink and looked rather... artificial, you could say, and it's mouth was out-of-sync with the word it said.

"BEGIN."

"HAND." Five cards were whisked away from the top of the deck, and were placed at equal intervals in front of the individual, with their proportions increased to a size equalling a standard human. The eyes of the hologram swivelled back and forth unnaturally, examining each card in turn.

The hologram updated the duel disk on display, then ceased to move. The silence that immediately followed was not punctuated until the hologram saw fit to speak again. "END."

"ACTIVATE." Discarding Dimension Explosion, the hologram activated Lightning Vortex, destroying Dark Mimic LV3 without activating it's effect. "ATTACK." Naturally, W-Wing Catapult and the Support Platform attacked together to inflict 1800 life points of damage. "END."
