make a web. On the computer.
I'm trying to map out a network of sorts, and I need to link people to organizations and things such as that. I'm trying on MS Paint, but there's got to be an easier way to do it.
I have a lot of people, and a lot of organizations. All of the people are connected to multiple organizations, and nearly all organizations are connected to multiple people. Ideally, I could color code certain organizations but that's not a necessity. Is there a program or something to do this easily?

Hm. Text boxes in word? Although arrows may be a bit annoying to draw.

Googling it might help. I've seen programs for things like this all over the web. (Although those programs might have had more to do with mind-mapping, so you wouldn't have each person connected to multiple organizations with each organization connected to many people. It would just be outward flowing. But I'm sure you could manage it how you want.)

MS Visio is used for mapping networs and has lots of options to link boxes together.

B-b-b-b-bingo!
That works perfectly. For now, at least. Eventually I'll have so many categories that no program will be able to handle them in a reasonable matter. But it will be fun whilst it lasts.
