Where did you get the idea that the strip updates thrice weekly? It doesn't, it hasn't in a long time, and threads asking why not (personal reasons) get locked quickly.

Welcome to the playground, Alfredo094! As Conuly said, threads about the updating schedule are not permitted. The comic is, per the FAQ, updated on a "when it is done" basis. Be sure to read the thread posting rules.

Here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=6228971&postcount=11) is Rich's post regarding this. The three times a week deal has been gone for years (although I think the news was originally still up there even after this had ended, leading to questions like this wondering why he wasn't averaging 3 a week). As others have said, asking why a comic hasn't been posted, or complaining/commenting on the update rate is one of the big no-no's on this forum.
