Just saw the review on the Escapist.

Anyone got it already? How is it, how is it, how is it?

I got it. I'm almost finished it, I think. I'm rank #2 at the moment.

It's hilarious, and they really did learn from the mistake of the first one. However, it's far from perfect. The combat is as monotonous as ever and the game had a habit of switching gameplay modes, such as Shinibu's sections and the motorcycle sections, which had all the smoothness of an on/off light switch and was poorly done.

But gameplay isn't No More Heroes' thing. The story and humour is what is, and let me tell you, the story in the original is downright TAME compared the the story in 2. The story in this sequel is simply MESSED-UP. :smalleek: But funny.

The fighting mechanics are awesome, if a bit repetitive. The story is extremely lulzy. The minigames are even more so.

If taken in small doses at a time, it's AWESOME. And the humour is just way weird, you can't help but laugh.

Edit: The Q beat me to the punch! Blast and darnation!

Got it a few days ago.

If you liked the first NMH, you'll like this. If you didn't, you won't. Simple as that.

Got to wait for Europe so Rising Star can get their stuff together.

Suda 51 said he might end up doing a NMH3 for the Wii successor as well.
