The air surrounding you fairly hums with the residue of magic, an aftereffect of the spell that brought you to this place. A quick glance reveals that you are in a small room, devoid of any life save for yourself. The sound of dripping water can be heard faintly, and the stone walls are slick with moisture. In complete defiance of logic, a torch is already lit, resting in a sconce near the room's single door.

Cracking a sunrod and attaching it to her 10 foot pole, Zahira faced the door stoutly and poked it with the end of her pole. She poked it again just to be sure, and if it looks safe, then she opens the door and looks out.


Buffs:
Persisted Divine Favor (+1 to attack and damage rolls; already included) and Persisted Lesser Vigor (fast healing 1).

The hall goes east and south.

East it goes beyond the light. 10ft down tehre is an intersection going north and south. 20ft further is a door on the northern side and 30ft beyond that is another intersection north and south.

South it goes 30ft and is T-ing east and west. There is a split east 20ft down.

Zahira heads all the way down the east hallway and turns north at that intersection, sweeping the floor and walls with her 10 foot pole before her the whole time. (Essentially taking 20 to find traps in every square.)

There is no north turn at the end of the east hall. I said at the beginning that from your position you don't see the actual end of that hall.

Language I use:

Intersection: Meaning that it goes all ways.
Split: It turns one way but continues in the same direction as well.
T-ing: It stops going in the direction it went, but splits into 2 new direction.
Turns:It just turns.

Also: Poking with the pole is not taking 20, but attempting to trigger everything from afar and hoping it won't target you.

I see. Well, you said that 60 feet down there is an intersection north and south. That is where Zahira is aiming to go. Once she gets there she looks down all the hallways attached to that intersection and sees what she can see.

The first intersection: North it goes 20ft and turns east. South it goes 20ft and turns west. There is a door on the eastern side 15ft into the southern hall.

From that position, poking 10ft down the east corridor reveals a pit 5ft wide.

Head down the north intersection and turn east 20 feet down it, avoiding the pit as I go and continuing the searching procedure with the pole.

The corridor goes east for 10ft and turns north for another 10ft. You reach a T. It goes west for 30ft, splitting and turning north at 20 and 30ft. East it goes 50ft. There is a split north 20ft down the corridor, a door on the southern side 10ft beyond that and at the end of the corridor, on the northern side is a door while it turns south.

Zahira goes east at the T, and heads toward the door at the end of the corridor, on the northern side. Holding the pole in one hand, she unsheathes her greatsword with the other and listens at the door (after checking it with the pole).

10ft from the split is revealed to be a pit. 5ft wide as well. Like all the pits will be.

How wide is the corridor? Can I get past the pit by walking around?

No. All corridors on this floor are 5ft wide. You can't just walk around pits.

The first split goes north for 20ft and turns east. The second one goes north 30ft and turns east as well.

Assuming the second split you mean the turn at the end of that east-west going hall, you find a pit midway.

Back to the first split, following it north for 20ft and turning east. Still checking for traps with the pole.

That hits, but Zahira just stays in that square for 2 rounds so that her Persisted Lesser Vigor gets her back to full health.

And that split with the acid orb trap was the first split, yes? If so, I will continue to follow that pathway north and turn east when it does (still checking for traps and doors).

What do you mean by "and doors"? Secret doors? Are you poking the walls too? To what hight of the walls are you poking?

Yes, I meant secret doors. As well as poking the floors in front of me, I am poking the walls up to ten feet high.

You can't ready an action like that.. If you ready an action after opening the door, the combat starts before you get the standard action to ready. If you ready before opening the door, making another action wastes the readied one.

Are you still opening the door?

I don't want to be a kill joy but you need to roll a crit confirmation and the bonus damage. It isn't just doubled, the extra is rolled.

But it doesn't matter now because that is a kill. 150xp.

Zahira searches the creature and the room, sheathing her sword and pulling out her 10 foot pole to search for traps ahead of her.

(By the way, she will always be searching the floor and walls around and before her with the 10 foot pole unless I state otherwise.)

The door opens to reveal a hall going south and east.

South it goes 10ft and is T-ing east and west.

East it goes 10ft and turns north. There is a large red note card hanging from the wall at the end of that hall.

Hmm... I will go down that hallway, searching for traps with the 10' pole on the way, and pointedly not try to read whatever it is the card might say.

If I get to the end of the hallway without trouble, cast Resistance on myself and try to pry the card off the wall with the end of my 10' pole (still not reading it).

To the north, the corridor ends in a T after 30', and there's a split east after 20'.
