Another barbarian, eh? Alright, since things went poorly last time, let's try something a bit different. I only hope I can wash away the stench of shame and cheese...

I'll craft a Scroll of Invisibility and a Scroll of Summon Swarm. Total cost is 75 gold pieces and 8 craft XP, and I pass the UMD checks on a 10.

Alright, a swarm of bats appears in L-22, L-23, M-22, M-23. Since you're the only enemy, it should make a beeline for you. Unfortunately, I think I need a ref to control the swarm, even though its moves should be fairly obvious (fly over the walls toward you). So I'll ask for one.

Remaining actions:
Move to V-17.

End turn, once I get a ref to move the bats.

Hold up, we need a rewind, since Eurus took an action after doing his scroll, which would not be possible given the casting time. Unless he just wishes to forgo the additional action he had posted and otherwise let the turn stand as previously stated.

A swarm of diminutive creatures (like bats) is immune to weapon damage... I'd offer you a chance to redo your move, but I don't think the arena allows that unless the move was outright illegal.

Their statblock says Half damage from Slashing and Piercing, and Swarm says Diminutive prevents all, I didn't know which took more power. :smallconfused:

Oh well. I guess I'll have to start running then.

Hephaestus is closer, but invisible and out of blindsence range. Looks like the bats will flutter off toward harry

I don't see any reason for the bats not to take double move actions rather than limiting themselves to a single move action, so the bats go flutter flutter out to B7+10/C8+15.

Ugh. Well, I've managed to screw this match up in so many ways that I'm fairly sure it's not possible for me to win anymore, barring several freaky rolls.

Hephaestus was in Y-13, but he moves to Y-21 and readies an action.

Readied action:
Move away if Harry tries to attack me.

End turn, bats move. And tragically, I believe, this is the last turn that they will remain.

Wow, that's actually a miss. But your attack still triggers Heph's readied action to RUN AWAAAAAAY (to Q-22).

And since I think I'm best off fleeing until your rage ends, Heph spends his own turn booking it to F-20. End turn.
