I'll post any and all of my OotS-related questions here.

#1. Why does O-Chul call the MitD "Monster-san" here (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0651.html), but "a good man" here (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0654.html)? Is it a mistake? Is the MitD a hermaphrodite? Is it just thrown in there to confuse us?

"San" is gender-neutral.

I believe the '-san' suffice is a title of honour/respect. Much like Sir/Madam, and is gender neutral.

san is a gender neutral honoriffic much like boku is boy only but many older men use watashi.
btw man is kinda ambiguous in that context as well as MitD is obviously not a human male

Oh...*facepalm*...got it mixed up with -chan...

Now let me think up another question.

"chan" is also gender neutral, I believe.

edit- when used for small children. It would be insulting for teenage boys.

Now let me think up another question.

Um.... you didn't have more already planned?

Do you have to have a personal thread devoted to all of your personal questions?

Now let me think up another question.

If you don't actually havequestions about OoTS, you might find a better use of your time than sitting around trying to think some up.

Tell that to the Quiz (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=138246&page=18) thread...

Oh sorry, what I meant was try to remember one of the dozen other questions I had. (And more will likely pop up.) And yes, I've seen threads like this before. More efficient than making a separate thread for each question, eh?

Hey, we love our quiz thread. It gives us something fun to do that doesn't involve...well,this (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=141065) Although it usually doesn't take as long to think up a question as it does to find the answer to one (depending on the question, of course).

.... and all of your dozen other questions are entirely unrelated to all of the many threads on the first few pages of this forum? I find that hard to believe.

Hopefully when she remembers the others, she will post them all at once?

Do you have to have a personal thread devoted to all of your personal questions?

Sheriff: No. Nor is it desireable, especially since you don't have multiple questions, you're just promising to dream up more for the sake of keeping "your" thread alive. :smallsigh: Perhaps as questions arise you could just find a relevant thread and ask there?
