Visitors to the Far Realms are often beset with unimaginable horrors and terrible beasts. A few unlucky survivors are stricken with madness and suffer a painful, agonizing death. However, there are those who have overcome their insanity and learned to wield it to defeat their enemies.

The Legion of the Reforged Mind is actually a group of survivors from the Far Realms who have somehow fought off their insanity, but in the process shattered their mind into seperate parts. They have learned to use their separate personalities to learn many different skills and abilities at once.

Split Mind(Ex): A Legionnaire of the Reforged Mind has had his mind split into several different personalities, but has learned to wield them to augment his abilities. Due to his fractured mind, he is immune to insanity and madness. Mind-affecting spells also have less of an impact on him due to his many personalities. Whenever he affected by a mind-effecting effect, he may as an immediate purely mental action shift to one of his other personas. While the afflicted persona is not in use, the duration of the mind-affecting spell runs its duration as normal although the new persona is not affected by it.

Persona Shift(Ex): A Legionnaire has learned to switch between his different personas and use whicheverone is best suited for the situation. As a full-round action, a Legionnaire may shift to one of his other personas. His Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma scores are replaced by his new persona's scores. His skill ranks, alignment, any spellcasting he has, and class features (other than Legionnaire of the Reforged Mind's class features) are replaced by the new persona. However, he retains everything else.

Persona(Ex): Although he has many personalities flowing him, a beginning Legionnaire must carefully pace himself lest the personalities overwhelm him and consume his identity. Beginning at level 1, at the beginning of the day, a Legionnaire must choose 1 personality to use as his persona, an alternate personality. A personality that has not been chosen is dormant and unaware of his surroundings. He cannot change which persona he has chosen for 24 hours. At level 5 and level 10, he may choose an additional persona.

Personalities(Ex): A Legionnaire of the Reforged Mind has many personalities in mind with which to master skills and abilities. Beginning at level 1, a Legionnaire has one split personality to choose as his daily persona. A personality may any alignment, but if two of them are chosen as personas for the day, they are considered to be associating with each other for the purposes of alignment restrictions and codes. A personality has a level equal to the Legionnaire's Legionnaire of the Reforged Mind levels. A personality may only have one class. A personality has ability scores equal to the original mind's (although physical ability scores are not switched when shifting personas). A personality gains hit points from hit die, but does not switch HP when he shifts personas. The Legionnaire gains extra personalities according to the table when he levels up.

Versatile Mind(Ex): A Legionnaire's personalities are not the same; neither in thought nor in ability. Beginning at 2nd level, when he gains this ability or he gains a new personality, he may move around its mental scores and shift a maximum of 2 points. At levels 5 and 9, he may shift anothe 2 points.

Improved Persona Shift(Ex): The Legionnaire has learned to better control his personas and may now shift personas as a standard action. He may also shift as an immediate action when hit by fear effects.

Greater Persona Shift(Ex): A Legionnaire of this level can shift personas as a move action. He may also shift personas as an immediate action whenever he is dazed or stunned.

Perfect Domination(Ex): A master Legionnaire of the Reforged Mind has true mastery over his mind and can perfectly coordinate his split personalities. A 10th level Legionnaire can 2/day enter a state of true focus. During such focus, he may shift personas as a free action, even during an opponent's turn. He has access to all his personalities as personas during this state of focus. While in this state, his personas may use any of their Int-, Wis-, or Cha- based skills even if they are not the current dominant persona. This state may last up to 10 rounds. Whether or not he is focused, a Legionnaire becomes immune to mind-affecting spells.

Class Features Transferred (Currently just core):
Barbarian: Rage, Illiteracy, Uncanny Dodge, Trap Sense, Indomitable Will
Bard: Bardic Music, Bardic Knowledge, Spellcasting
Cleric: Turning or Rebuking, Spellcasting
Druid: Nature Sense, Wild Empathy, Woodland Stride, Trackless Step, Resist Nature's Lure, A Thousand Faces, Spellcasting
Fighter: Bonus Feats (provided he still qualifies for them)
Monk: Bonus Feats, Flurry of Blows, Unarmed Strike, Evasion, Still Mind, Ki Strike, Slow Fall, Improved Evasion, Diamond Soul, Quivering Palm, Tongue of the Sun and Moon, Monk AC bonus
Paladin: Aura of Good, Detect Evil, Smite Evil, Divine Grace, Lay on Hands, Aura of Courage, Turn Undead, Remove Disease, Spellcasting
Ranger: Favored Enemies, Track, Wild Empathy, Combat Style, Endurance, Woodland Stride, Swift Tracker, Evasion, Camouflage, Hide in Plain Sight, Spellcasting
Rogue: Sneak Attack, Trapfinding, Evasion, Trap Sense, Uncanny Dodge, Improved Uncanny Dodge, Special Ability
Sorcerer: Spellcasting
Wizard: Spellcasting, Bonus Feats
Casters still suffer ASF.
I listed some stuff that would be too high level to carry over, but that may change as to whether I decide to increase the personalities' levels or not.

Any thoughts? Too powerful or too weak?

I would think that the versatility is overshadowed by how low level the personas are, should they get a few extra levels spread around the class.

Mechanically what does this mean?

Well, it's mostly just fluff or maybe a plot hook, but I suppose something along the lines of failling a save against an insanity spell or something. Using a spell on yourself to cure or Iron Heart Surge or something similar would qualify. However, the key is that you did not receive outside help.
