Holy wow (http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product_info.php?products_id=78905).

It is like a non-stop kaleidoscope of robotic awesome and it just keeps going. Robot dinosaurs! Beamklaves! Jetpacks! Go-go-gadget arms! Robot zombies! Drills! Goggles! Combining robots! Laser cannons! Bender! Sentient radio stations! X-ray vision! And of course, the Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer is my penis.

In conclusion: this book is awesome. If you play Exalted, want to play Exalted, or have ever used the phrase needed a bigger drill in a sentence, you should buy it.

The fact that I'm totally going to run an Alchemicals game here has absolutely nothing to do with this.

Yes. I started reading last night and it is epic. If you run a game online, please tell me about it!

Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer

Something like this? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwLg4tYvg0k)
While the color scheme is more Solar-like, the over the top level is perfectly in line with Exalted.

You know what Alchemicals need? A good screwdriver.

Sonic Transduction Apparatus
Cost: 3m [1m]
Mins: Intelligence 3, Essence 2
Type: Supplemental
Keywords: Combo-OK, Obvious
Duration: Instant
Prerequisite Charms: Omnitool Implant

Lenses of sapphire are embedded in the palms of the Alchemical, integrated into his Omnitool Implant with an array of blue jade pins. When activated, the lenses of this Charm glow blue and give off a high-pitched oscillating whistle. This Charm can enhance any non-attack action, allowing the Alchemical to perform it at a range of (Essence) yards. He may remotely manipulate any object he could normally lift, and can perform any manipulation possible with any of the tools his Omnitool Implant could manifest, from picking a lock, to closing a door, to simply driving screws.

Submodules
Analytical Kinetic Module (Intelligence 4): When taking an action enhanced by this Charm, the Alchemical may substitute his Intelligence rating for the Attribute normally rolled, and may enhance the roll with Intelligence Augmentations.

Oscillation Lance (Dexterity 4): The Alchemical may use this Charm to attack with unarmed punches, or any melee weapon attached to his body by Alchemical Charms, at range. Such attacks manifest as a burst of visible sonic energy emanating from the Exalt’s palms or the weapon itself, and may be dodged and parried normally.

I assume it's Dr. Who's the Doctor's sonic screwdriver.

A question to TDO, or anyone else who has this book: is there a charm that lets you transform into other forms? A vehicle, for example?

Nope. You could, however, take Manifold Transhuman Implants to gain some mutations, and use Internal Artifact Transmogrifier to suppress them, letting you effectively make an alt-mode. But nah, turning into a vehicle would be really silly.

A solar can dodge a nuclear explosion in a 5x5x5 room....I think exalted had gone past silly.

Silly in the sense of "not fun to play."

There is a whole wiki that disagrees with this statement. (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Main_Page)

Transformers is a story about giant robots. The transforming is really just tacked-on merchandising.

Hell even Dragonblooded can block thrown mountains.

Only if they're blockable by a normal blade... such as if they were a particularly small, slow moving mountain.

Friggin' Dragonblooded errata.

It's okay! Convocation of Warding lets them team up to actually deflect meteors.

I don't know. I prefer my hammers rocket powered and with a drill head. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myJSxSfqwx8&feature=PlayList&p=B63A8666FFF16AC4&index=73)

But can it prevail over a six-pistoned revolver punch?

Revolutionary Piston Cylinder (Strength 8, Essence 6): Attached to the Piston-Driven Megaton Hammer of a Colossus, this submodule replaces the single piston of the Charm with a ring of six pistons mounted on a rotary cylinder. When activated, the pistons revolve and fire in sequence with a deafening cacophony. By spending a point of Willpower when activating the enhanced Charm, the Alchemical may multiply successes on an attack roll his (Essence), or his (Essence + 1) for unarmed attacks, rather than the normal multiplier.

Only one way to reply to that:

"The Knight of the Iron Hammer, Vita, and the Steel Count, Graf Eisen. There's nothing in this world we can't destroy."

Actually, it occurs to me that a rocket-powered drill hammer would be completely compatible with the piston-driven megaton hammer. Two hammers in one!

Does it let me Do this? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Crz4_UofhS0)

(Disclaimer: For all I know, I can already do this, having not looked much at Exalted and played very few games of it. However, One day, I'm sure I'll end up in a full campaign of it.)
