What if Dethklok had been seriously done?

Those who know the serious might relate to what I mean with this topic. The show already felt epic much/some of the time, and the music and certain/any scenes got your blood and emotions moving. Among these scenes like the Dethkopter and the ending credit sequences were spectacular.For weeks now I have been trying to imagine what it would have been like if the show had been done in a serious tone (probably not on Adult Swim).

I could just only begin to imagine the epicness. Even less try to picture it as a D20 Modern adevnture like I would like it to be.

Most likely it would fall apart do to completely sociopathic main characters who have total immunity to any legal reprecussion of their actions.

I don't know how well that would have worked. For one thing, I just can't take GRIMDARKness/being totally f*cking metal seriously, and it's much better when played for exaggerated comedy.

For another thing, as the lyrics say: "it's funny 'cause it's not."
