Got this game in the Steam sale on the weekend and I think it's great.
There's nothing better than a Swadian cavalry charge! :smallbiggrin:

I have a renown of about 500 and something, and a a Swadian the reason I am winning battles at the moment is with my cavalry against the Nords. Have my own castle and I am trying to level up to siege one with enough men.

I do, though this should probably go in the Mount and Blade (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137962) thread. I highly recommend getting the native expansion mod; it add tons of new units and generally changes gameplay in some very interesting ways.

Sure, you can check out Native Expansion.... or you can go straight to Prophesy of Pendor. Which is basically the main game but way way better.
