... for recreating spells effects without the actual casting of magic. I am looking for things like:

lighter + spray can = Burning Hands

or

telescope = Clairvoyance

No magic items or futuretech allowed, only mundane items anywhere from the Stone Age to the 21st century.

Suggestions?

EDIT: I'm trying to build a kind of a Batman Wizard, without the spells, if that's any help :smallbiggrin:

Well, grease, or oil thrown on the ground will make a dandy substitute for grease. Walkie talkies for message.
Being splashed with a strong enough acid for acid splash.
A bag of of caustic powder would simulate both the outlining and the blinding effect of glitterdust
