Looking for someone in UK/Ireland

I need a document from an embassy in London, and it seems other than travelling there myself, the only way of getting it is by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Now the problem is, I'll need UK stamps for that envelope, and the post offices here in Ireland neither sell them, nor do they sell international reply coupons (IRCs) and basically can't help me in any way.

So would anyone by any chance know how can I get some UK stamps? The royal mail sells them online, but the cheapest roll costs 100+ pounds... I checked with my friends here and none is going to the UK in the near future.

I just don't want to travel all the way to London just to get one paper...
