There something i don't get with the joke about "treasure type o".

Well, i understand the second meaning of this double-entendre, the one that i will not utter here.:smallwink:

What i don't get is the straight meaning. In the SRD, treasure are just categorize in coins, goods and items, there are no "types". What would that mean, without the innuendo?
Does the "o" stand for a particular word?

There isn't one. That was just Roy's way of mocking her.

Actually, there is. It's just old. In--1ed? 0ed? It might even have been in 2ed--a monster's description would list "Treasure carried: Type [letter]." There was a table on which you could look up what that letter meant (copper pieces and, maybe, a basic healing potion if the letter was one assigned to creatures like kobolds and goblins, powerful magic items if the letter was one assigned to ancient red dragons and liches). It might be "1/2 A," for a monster than one which would have only half of everything listed under Treasure Type A, or it might be, "X, Y, Z, 2xQ" for a monster which would have everything listed under X, Y, and Z, and twice what was listed under Q.

Aw man, this thread fails to deliver. I was looking forward to explaining the innuendo in as oblique a manner as possible.

Well...(censored due to the fact I'd rather like to not be banned and/or get in trouble)...and that pretty much sums it all up.

Any questions?
