A lone warrior steps forward, lightly armored with a sword at his side. He seems incredibly calm considering he was facing a battle against three foes. But, the more the merrier, so he would say.

Drawing his blade from his side, it appears that it is no sword, but in fact a Duel Disk, bladed at the side. Inserting his deck, the warrior prepares for combat in silence.

((You need to number your deck, so you can draw cards. Number them all 1-whatever and then roll using the forum dice roller to generate draws. You need your five initial draws as well as a turn draw since you're going first. As you draw cards, strike them off the decklist and change the numbering system to reflect their absence. Does that make sense?

Nodding at his selection, the warrior silently plays his first card. A dual-wielding swordsman (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Marauding_Captain) appears, swinging his swords. However, he is not alone; with a signal, the silent warrior brings forth a second soldier. This one is a heavily armored female (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Command_Knight), though her decorative blade symbolizes her skill. She appears to take a defensive position rather than offensive, hiding behind her shield while the Captain draws attention away from her.

Finally, the silent warrior lays one card face-down behind his warriors, then ends his move.

(For translation, Marauding Captain, Spec. Summon Command Knight, set a spell/trap.)

A card reveals itself. Two cylindrical tubes (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Magic_Cylinder) appear, one absorbing Cliff's attack while the other returns it to sender. The cloaked warrior shows no reaction at his effect or the assault, and nor do his own soldiers. His body language seems to question whether actions might be different after this new development.

Drawing his card, the silent warrior seems stunned for a moment. Then, he activates a spell. At first, nothing seems to happen, but then each of his warriors appears to glow with power, increasing their own strength by those around them. His Command Knight is so empowered that she switches from her defensive position and draws her ornate blade.

Throwing away his cloak, the warrior reveals his true form, that of a magician-warrior bearing the sigils of untold number (http://www.wizards.com/mtg/images/daily/stf/stf23_rafiq.jpg). "I am a true champion! And now you will experience how my warriors work together!"

Another warrior appears, this time bearing multiple blades (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Twin-Sword_Marauder). He, too, is empowered by his allies, gaining massive strength.

"Now, Twin-Sword Marauder! Attack! Go with the sterngth of your allies!

The Marauder moves forward with speed and strength, slicing and dicing Cliff the Trap Remover and likely destroying him. (1600+400+600=2600 ATK) Following the Marauder, Marauding Captain and Command Knight also attack, hopefully making direct strikes with their attacks (Both 1200+400+600=2200 ATK).

Their attacks completed, the warrior lays one card next to his power-granting spell and ends his turn.

Meeouch! Our lifepoints are really low... we're going to have to remedy this right away!

We play Double Summon, summoning Marauding Captain and Rose, Warrior of Revenge. Through Marauding Captain's effect, we also summon Comrade Swordsman of Landstar. Next, we'll go ahead and Tune Landstar and the Captain... Marauding Captain and Comrade Swordsman of Landstar vanish in a a cloud of ringing noises, bringing out a giant mech who looks like a cross between a cowboy and a kabouki dancer. The three jump into cockpits in the backpack of the mech. Next, we'll activate Mage Power on Rose. The red-haired warrior glows with blue energy similar to the yellow energy from before.

Now, first Goyo Guardian destroys your Marauding Captain! Goyo Lariat! Marauding Captain is brainwashed by the lariat and switches sides to the Rockets' side, in defense mode. Rose will then take out your Command Knight. The magically-augmented warrior woman takes out her same-gendered counterpart. In our End Phase, your Marauding Captain and Rose tune for X-Saber Urbellum, in attack mode. Another warrior mech appears after all the attacks to replace Rose and Marauding Captain, wielding two giant swords.

((Total Damage: 600 (Goyo Attack) + 100 (Rose Attack) + 300 (Rose Effect) = 1000 damage)).

Meowth! Your move! ((If that facedown is Mirror Force or something to a similarly destructive effect, this is over. I just emptied my entire hand in an attempt to make a comeback.))

(You know, I totally missed the part where I forgot to link to A. Forces. Yes, I did, that is what the AF is supposed to be on my Magic slot and why all my guys have 600 more ATK than they did before. Totally my mistake, I probably should have edited that in before you took your turn. Alas.)

The face-down card reveals itself. A burst of light flies from the attacks, blasting away every Monster that attempted offense. "My defenses are impenetrable! With the power of teamwork, my forces will be able to destroy you!"

(It was Mirror Force. Sorry. :smallredface: In any case, Tuners are ridiculous.)

The reflected combo attack rams into the mech, destroying it. Team Rocket happens to be riding the mech, and the explosion launches them into the sky.

TEAM ROCKET'S BLASTING OFF AGAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaain...

((Good game. My deck threw the best it had at you, and was summarily told to shut up, sit down and go blasting off again. One recommendation I would make for your deck is Solidarity (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Solidarity) - +800 attack, as long as your Graveyard is only Warriors, would be an excellent asset here, I think.))

(Yeah, turns out there have been a lot of cards printed since I thought up this deck idea. I'll probably do a huge mega-rework.)

((EDIT: A tip, don't add Hyeunlei, I made that mistake with my Rockets deck. He requires an X-Saber monster to summon, and I don't think you have any. I would replace him with X-Saber Urbellum - remember, with a Synchro, the level stars must = the levels stars of the synchro monster, rather than >= the level of the synchro monster. If its not exactly right, you can't do it (so those 5-Star Waynes may be hard for you to summon).))

Meowth! Another card in the arsenal.

We will be playing Reinforcement for the Army to bring Rose, Warrior of Revenge, to our hand. Summoning her, she tunes with a Marauding Captain for X-Saber Urbellum! We'll then activate our facedown Robbin' Goblin, as well as Solidarity from out hand. Rose appears, and she and one of the captains vanish in a cloud of noise, to be replaced by one of the Rockets' Warrior mechs, which they jump onto. A spell is then activate which channels the power of Rose and The Marauding Captain into their living compatriots.

Marauding Captain will destroy your facedown, and then X-Saber Urbellum will attack directly, causing you to discard two random cards from your hand. Marauding Captain shreds the facedown monster, and then the X-Saber's direct attack shreds one of the man's cards, and while he is distracted a goblin comes up and steals another of the cards in his hand. We'll end out turn at that. ((3000 damage and two random discards, one as a result of Urbellum's effect and the other from Robbin' Goblin.))

A famous bandit (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Don_Zaloog) appears, then is immediately destroyed by the dual-wielding captain. His friend, another dual-wielding swordsman, cuts through the cloaked warrior, reliving him of one card by his assisting goblin and one which seems to return to the top of the deck. Unfazed, the cloaked warrior resumes his own turn.

The cloaked warrior immediately places two of his cards face-down, then brings forth a group of goblins (http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Goblin_Attack_Force). Though at first they appear to be mindless rabble, the cloaked warrior with one gesture commands them to swarm the Captain, hoping to take him down with pure strength of arms. After such an attack, however, the goblins are left defenseless against any return onslaught.

Whether or not his opponent has further actions, the cloaked warrior silently passes his turn after his offensive.

(There's nothing I can draw that will let me still win this game. Having Captain lock basically beat me.)

Rather than allow his foe's creatures to strike him, the cloaked warrior throws forth an ancient spell and escapes. While safe from total demise, he has been thoroughly defeated.

((Good game. The beauty of my Rockets deck is that once they get you into the discard/mill cycle with their buffed attacks, there is very few things you can do to stop them. Its just building this momentum that is always the issue.))

(I don't think this deck is the sort that wants to be Synchronizing that much. I think I'll revert to a semi-older build of this deck and try that for now. Also, I miss card-selection cards.)

((Card selection cards? I'm not sure what those are.

And yeah, its good not to try too many things in any one deck - I like Synchros because of the ease of summoning, but mostly because Colossal Fighter is awesome incarnate, but the focus of this deck is definitely the dark scorpions and triggering crippling effects off of dealing battle damage, and lots of it. Rose is still a solid addition to any Warriors deck - she has a decent effect, respectable base attack, the ability to tune, is level 4 (very rare for a tuner) and can benefit from all the deck's buffs. I am considering adding The Immortal Bushi in one or two copies to my deck for Synchro fodder/defense.

Take a look at Altaria87's Warriors deck (currently being run his his "Altaria Gauntlet") for some good ideas that work well.))

(Mostly Pot of Greed and Graceful Charity, which go in every deck and smooth draws for all eternity. Maybe I'm spoiled by playing lots of Exodia decks in the video games, but I enjoy a good card-drawing engine.)

((I am also very spoiled by undefeatable Exodia decks in the video games. However, I have made a rather functional Exodia without the no-brainer draw engines, instead using things like Jar of Greed, Upstart Goblin and stall cards. I also had an interesting idea - a deck of mostly normal monsters + Exodia pieces, using heart of the Underdog and Common Charity as draw engines. Thoughts on this idea? Possibly including 1 or 2 Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lords, to bring Exodia Pieces and Normal Monsters back to the deck.))

(I imagine it can be done, but I'm not sure I would be the one to do it. I'd be welcome to helping you test its effectiveness once I finish with my other deck of oddities.)
